Winter isn't over yet but we're antsy for Spring and have been popping white pieces on the showroom floor this week. Which got us thinking.. Do you believe that you can't wear white after labor day? We don't and we want to help you get over that mental block if you have it. Unlike Spring/Summer where white might be the main color of focus - Fall/Winter is all about making that white pop! Here are a few things you need to know about rocking White in the winter, or as we call it "Winter White".
- Think layering!! Create layered looks with more "traditional" Fall/Winter colors like creams and browns.
- Create dimension. Think about it like a chair. A white chair can be pretty boring, however, if you pop on a throw pillow (even in white) it suddenly creates interest to the eye and dimension to that chair. You can create dimension with white by mixing textiles. Think of a basic white tee with a suede or denim jacket. It's okay to not be too "Matchy Matchy".
- You can think of it as a blank canvas. This can tricky if you go over board with the accessories. Less = more. Pop a statement necklace, or a funky bag.
Now we challenge you to rock some white and be sure to tag us on social media so we can see it using the #Formula4style. Who knows you may be featured on our page.
